Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 years as a tight-end in the National Football League. The NFL's most successful tight ends and the third most effective overall receivers, he has been recognized as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of receptions, yards he has received, achieved, and so on.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has appeared in FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNSET) that airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on the 15th of March 2013, for a deal of $14 million for two years. He did this regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he was retiring at the end of the season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL leading receiver in yards.
